Picnic in the Park Appreciation Event
The picnic is scheduled for August, but the date is pending shelter availability at Hidden Falls in Saint Paul. Stay Tuned! As part of this Event, WUMN also is hosting their Annual Meeting at which new organization Officers will be elected. President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Officers serve for two year terms and attend the monthly Board Meeting. Let's all iron our favorite cargo shorts, because at this picnic the Board would also like to express thanks and gratitude to two departing Board members, Jill and Martha. These two women have served for several years to keep the WUMN organization a vital community asset. Many Mondo Thanks!

WUMN Board Meeting
The next WUMN Board Meeting is scheduled for August 11, 6:45 p.m. The meeting is held at the Coldwell Banker Burnet office at 7550 France Avenue South in Edina. Anyone is welcome to attend, but especially those interested in serving as a Board Member. FFI Rose Hart at 612-250-0119

WUMN Gala 2010 Information
Order and Pay by September 1, 2009 ** $30 ea. There are no table prices, but table groups can be requested with your payment.Contact Rose FFI to order tickets or volunteer for the Gala Committee. WUMN web site

Ticket sales are limited to 350. The date is February 13, the venue is the Ramada MOA in Bloomington(many of us remember it as the legendary Thunderbird Motel). This new venue offers free parking and a more affordable room rate.
