THE PREMIERE ALL GAL GALA
The WUMN Gala, the premiere Twin Cities Womyn's community social event, was held on February 13, 2010, at the Ramada MOA in Bloomington, and attended by 180 women. The evening began with a small, lively Single Mingle Social Hour. Then, a hot tango dance demonstration by Lois Donnay and Aimee Cardwell kicked off what turned out to be a hot and thumping evening. DJ Sherrie Plaster kept the crowd happy- dancing on the floor right up until 1:00 a.m.

An informal survey revealed that many women approved of the new venue and date. The new location offered free parking and a lower room rate, keeping ticket prices affordable. The Gala remains a vital fundraising and social venue for the Twin Cities gay and womyn's community. Join us next year at the Ramada MOA on February 12.

Many thanks to Ruta&Crue at True Colors Bookstore for their invaluable help in selling tickets to the event. $100 was donated to our event beneficiary, Safe Journey. Also, A Big Thanks Shout- out to Deb D. for the incredible ballroom decorations, and of course, thanks to all the volunteers and attendees who helped to make "Stardust Memories" a memorable night!

RED RIBBON RIDE
July 15 - 18, 2010
Join us for the Eighth Annual Red Ribbon Ride in 2010. This is a four day, nearly 300 mile bike ride that will start with an Opening Ceremony at 6:30am at the Mall of America East Rotunda on Thursday, July 15th, and end with a closing ceremony at the beautiful State Capitol in St. Paul, July 18th at 1:30pm. MINNESOTA LAVENDER BAR ASSN
Join us from 7 to 9:45 pm, Friday, March 19, for a one-hour presentation of Tobias K. Davis’ play, “The Naked I,” followed by a discussion with legal experts designed to educate lawyers about the elimination of bias or prejudice against transgender people. Refreshments and snacks will be provided by El Meson Bistro compliments of MLBA.

This event is free and open to the public. Attendees will receive one Elimination of Bias CLE. Donations will be accepted on behalf of the Trans Youth Support Network.
